We’d like to give a big shout-out to our dietary aide Lauren as she heads off to Iowa State University! Our team surprised her with a Cyclones-themed get-together during her last shift. Several residents enjoyed painting birdhouses during craft time for their shadow boxes. After watching the birds in our yard, they were inspired to create their own. 💚

On Wednesday we participated in the World Series for Bean Bag Baseball, and everyone had a wonderful time! We played against Deerfield, and although we didn't come away with the win, we thoroughly enjoyed the game. Two of our residents, Marsha and Charles, were even in the royal court, they are truly big fans of the game and always make sure everyone is included. Here’s to a great Bean Bag Baseball season. ⭐💚
