We enjoyed an outing to Walmart, spent some time with adult coloring and music, then wrapped up the day with an A–Z Iowa State Fair game while snacking on popcorn.

⚾️ Residents vs. Employees… Play Ball! ⚾️

Today’s Bean Bag Baseball showdown was one for the books! Our employees stepped up to the plate to take on our amazing residents in a game filled with laughter, friendly competition, and outstanding sportsmanship.

While the employees may have claimed today’s victory, we all know the real champions are our residents, who always win our hearts with their enthusiasm, determination, and incredible team spirit! ❤️

After the final inning, everyone gathered in the dining room to cool off with delicious popsicles and unwind with relaxing music—the perfect ending to a fun-filled afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who joined in and made today another wonderful memory. We can’t wait for the rematch! 🍦⚾️💙

🎉 What a fantastic time we had celebrating our July birthdays! 🎂

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with music, laughter, and sweet treats as the talented Richie Lee entertained us with an incredible performance that had everyone smiling and in great spirits.

A heartfelt thank you to Mackenzie from Suncrest Hospice for generously providing the delicious cake, cupcakes, and punch. Your kindness helped make our celebration extra special, and we are so grateful for your support!

From sharing birthday cake and plenty of laughs to cooling off with snow cones, it was a wonderful afternoon filled with joy, friendship, and lasting memories. Happy Birthday to all of our July birthday stars! 🥳🎈🍧

A huge thank you to the Carlisle High School girls for joining us this afternoon for a fun-filled Bean Bag Baseball scrimmage! Our residents had an incredible time sharing stories, showing off their skills, and enjoying some friendly competition.

Congratulations to the Carlisle team on today’s victory… we’ll call it beginner’s luck this time! 😉 We can’t wait for the rematch!

A special thank you as well to ARL Therapets for spending time with our residents and bringing so many smiles throughout the afternoon. Their furry friend made an already wonderful day even more memorable.

Community connections like these create lasting memories, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make today such a success!
