🎶🎤 Music, Smiles & Maybe a Little Dancing! 💃🕺

Our StoryPoint Beaverdale residents enjoyed some live music, good vibes, and plenty of toe-tapping fun! Some sang along, some danced, and a few may have shown us moves we didn’t know they had!

Yesterday we had a blast playing Beanbag Baseball with Independence Village Ankeny! New friends, old friends, and lots of fun had by all! Thank you to Independence Village Ankeny for hosting us!

🎶🤣 Dave Watson Had Us Laughing AND Singing! 🎤🎉

Well… Dave Watson came to StoryPoint Beaverdale and apparently decided our residents needed a little more music, mischief, and laughter in their day! 😂

From toe-tapping tunes to plenty of laughs, Dave had our residents smiling, singing along, and having an absolute blast! 🎶👏 Some may have even shown off a few dance moves… and we’re not naming names! 💃🕺😉

It was the perfect reminder that age is just a number when the music is good and the company is even better! ❤️

Thank you, Dave, for bringing the fun, the music, and the laughs! We’re already looking forward to the next encore! 🎤🎵

🎶 A Voice That Still Shines Through the Memories 🎶

Some memories may fade, but the joy of music has a beautiful way of staying with us. ❤️

Today, we’re celebrating one of our wonderful memory care residents who has a special history as a singer! 🎤✨ Hearing her voice and watching her light up as she sings is such a beautiful reminder that the person we’ve always been is still very much a part of who we are today.

Music can reach places that words sometimes can’t—and this moment was pure magic. 💕🎶

Today was Iowa State Fair Day!!!! We were blessed with taking some of our residents to enjoy the sights, sounds, and fun! The best part: hearing their memories of their fair experiences!

Today our Fair Days continued! First off, we had our version of a foot race with Fast Feet Frenzy! Followed by a caricature artist and Root Beer Floats! What a fun day!!!! Thank you to Every Step Hospice and Caricatures by Steph for making the residents' day wonderful!

🍹✨ Happy Hour Is About More Than Just the Drinks! ✨🍹

Happy Hour isn’t always about planned activities or a packed schedule. Sometimes, the best moments happen when we simply sit together, share a few laughs, tell stories, and learn something new about the people around us. ❤️

It’s about making connections, discovering common interests, reminiscing about the good old days, and creating new memories together.

Because at the end of the day, it’s the connections we make that make our community feel like home.

There was plenty of excitement, laughter, and smiles at our community as some very special guests stopped by—adorable alpacas! 🦙💚
Our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents loved spending time petting and interacting with these gentle animals. Their visit brought so much joy, sparked wonderful conversations, and created meaningful moments for everyone involved.
Experiences like these remind us that it's the simple things—a soft nuzzle, a curious face, and shared laughter—that make life so special. Thank you to our furry visitors for making it a day to remember! ❤️
