It's World Mental Health Day! 🌎🙌

This year's theme is "Lived experiences heard: Real voices, real change." It reminds us of the importance and impact of listening to people's experiences with mental health.

Check in with yourself and the people around you today. Mental health matters every day, and it’s okay to ask for help when things feel overwhelming.

You’re not alone, and support is available. 💚

October is National Depression Education & Awareness Month 💚

Depression is more than just feeling sad. It can affect how someone thinks, works, connects with others, and gets through everyday life.

Use this month to listen, learn, and remind those you love that no one has to face it alone. Open and honest conversations are the best way to support others and reduce stigma.

Remember: asking for help is a sign of strength. Help and support are available.

Your well-being matters. 💚

Happy National Do Something Nice Day! 😊

A small act of kindness can make a big difference. Today, take a moment to check in on someone, offer a helping hand, give a genuine compliment, or simply remind someone that they matter.

You never know how much a little kindness can mean. 💛

It's Mental Illness Awareness Week 💚

Mental illness can affect anyone, and reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness. Whether you’re struggling yourself or supporting someone you care about, help is available. There is no shame in asking for help.

AWBS is here to provide empathetic, person-centered care when you need it. Above all else, remember: YOU MATTER. You don’t have to go through it alone. 💚

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🩷

This month, AWBS is raising awareness and encouraging everyone to make their health a priority. Regular screenings and knowing what’s normal for your body can help with early detection.

💗 Make time for your health.
💗 Encourage others to get screened.
💗 Talk openly about breast health and support those affected by breast cancer.

And remember... taking care of yourself includes your physical AND mental well-being. If you or someone you love is facing a breast cancer diagnosis, it’s okay to ask for support.

Get informed. Get screened. Take care of yourself. ❣️
