🌟🐸 Spotlight Saturday: Meet Our Tiny Tree Frogs!

Today we’re shining the spotlight on our Tiny Tree Frogs — ages 18–24 months!

At this stage, children are becoming more independent, more expressive, and more curious about everything around them. Through songs, books, movement, sensory play, art, simple choices, and hands-on exploration, they’re building language, problem-solving skills, social confidence, and coordination.

There’s a lot happening in this busy toddler stage, and we love watching every new word, new skill, and new discovery unfold.

🏡💜 Family Challenge Friday: Build a Routine Together

This weekend, choose one part of your day and make a simple routine with your child.

It could be your morning routine, dinner routine, bath time, or bedtime. Let your child help decide the order and talk through each step together.

When children help create a routine, they’re practicing memory, communication, independence, and confidence—and the predictability can help everyday transitions feel easier too.

Keep it simple. Even 3–4 steps is plenty.

❤️ The Why Thursday: Why Repetition Matters

Young children learn through repetition.

Hearing the same song, reading the same book, practicing the same routine, or trying the same skill again and again helps their brains build stronger connections.

Repetition helps children remember, gain confidence, strengthen language, and become more independent.

So when your child asks for the same story for the tenth time… there’s a reason. 💜

Doing it again is part of learning.

Today we talked about what family means and what makes a family special. 🩷 As a class, we worked together to create a heart art piece to show that our classroom is also a family. The kids had such a great time working together and creating something special! 💕

Today in the Brave Bears class we created our very own family trees! The kiddos used their handprint to help decorate their tree, and we added leaves with the names of the special people in their family. 💚 This activity gave us a fun opportunity to talk about our families and all the different people who are special to us! 🥰🏡
