Today, as we prepared for our campfire adventure, our students created flashlight lanterns to carry on a woodland walk. We were searching for the perfect camping spot. This fun activity encouraged creativity, imagination, and exploration.

What’s camping without a campfire?
Today our brainy badgers and our bright bunnies teamed up together to make the ultimate and super fun campfire.
Students picked up and collected sticks to make the firewood. They each took turns constructing a fire. We also discussed what we should do to make a fire and how to put out a fire. We also reminded them that they should not play with fire or even start a fire without adult supervision.
We ended our fun adventure with a campfire song!

Today the Brave Bears had so much fun during our Nature Scavenger Hunt! The children searched for items on their scavenger hunt sheets and were very excited to find them. They also collected some nature items to add to our science center. Afterward, each child picked out a rock and painted it. They had a great time exploring nature and being creative!

Today in Bubbly Butterflies, we learned about camping and talked about the different things we might see and use on a camping trip, such as tents, campfires, flashlights, animals, and nature. We discussed how camping helps us explore the outdoors and enjoy nature. For our activity, the children went on a camping-themed scavenger hunt around the playground. They used their observation skills to search for different items on their checklist, worked together with friends, and had lots of fun exploring. This hands-on activity encouraged teamwork, listening skills, and a love for outdoor adventure. 🍃 🔍 🏕️
