🚨 Important for Speech Therapy! 🚨

Major Medicare reimbursement changes are proposed for 2027 that could significantly reduce reimbursement for speech-language pathology services. This could force some practices to reduce services, limit patients, or even consider closing their doors.

Even if you don’t have Medicare, these changes matter. Other insurance companies often follow Medicare’s lead when determining reimbursement rates.

The SPEAK Project is advocating for sustainable reimbursement so speech therapy practices—including small private practices like ours—can continue providing much-needed care, especially to children in our communities. ❤️
