The "Sleep-Through-the-Night" Routine
Afternoon (3–6 PM): Support Circulation
Elevate: Prop legs up on pillows (heels above heart) for 30–60 minutes.
Massage: Apply Cypress and AromaTouch® upward from ankles to knees to help circulation.
Support: Wear compression socks during the day; remove them before bed.
Purpose: Manage fluid retention early, not at 3 AM.
Dinner: Hydration & Timing
Fluid Curfew: Finish your last large glass of water with dinner. Taper all fluid intake afterward.
Diet: Keep dinner low-salt to prevent the body from retaining water.
Support: A drop of Lemon oil in your final glass is a popular choice for routine consistency.
One Hour Before Bed: Wind Down
Calm the System: Use Juniper Berry (diffused or topically) to help create a tranquil environment.
Abdominal Support: Apply your "Bladder Comfort" roller (see below) to the lower abdomen using slow, circular motions.
Bedtime: Deep Sleep Mode
Diffuse: Lavender and Cedarwood to set the mood.
Apply: Serenity® on wrists and Balance® on the soles of your feet to encourage relaxation.
If You Wake: Avoid bright lights and devices. Use slow breathing (inhale 4 seconds, exhale 6) to return to sleep.
The "Bladder Comfort" Roller
In a 10 mL roller bottle, combine:
8 drops Cypress
6 drops Juniper Berry
4 drops Clary Sage (or Geranium)
4 drops Balance®
3 drops Frankincense
Fill the remainder with Fractionated Coconut Oil.
Usage: Apply to the lower abdomen morning and night. Consistency is key; use daily for 2–4 weeks to gauge results.
The 7 Golden Rules
Fluid Curfew: No fluids 2–3 hours before bed.
Caffeine/Alcohol: Cut caffeine by 2 PM; avoid alcohol in the evenings.
Watch the Salt: Reduces midnight fluid retention.
Elevate: Use the afternoon to move fluids; keep feet warm at night.
Double Void: Urinate, brush teeth, then try one more time before bed.
Kegels: Gentle, daily pelvic floor exercises help improve control.
Bladder Training: Gradually increase the time between bathroom trips during the day.
Disclaimer: This routine is for wellness and lifestyle support. Essential oils are powerful—always perform a patch test before use and dilute properly. Avoid internal use of essential oils unless bottle is clearly marked for internal use. Always use reputable oils like doTerra.
