The FFA Officers ROCKED their demonstrations today during Dickinson High School’s Summer Bridge tour of our ag barn! These student leaders did an amazing job showcasing our program, answering questions, and opening our barn doors to students who may never have had the opportunity to experience agricultural education firsthand. We couldn’t be more proud!

FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, five members of the Dickinson FFA Clay Shooting Team along with their coaches Mr. Fugett and Ms. Murphy proudly represented our chapter at the Ag Clays 381 Texas FFA Shoot. They showcased their dedication, sportsmanship, and shooting skills against competitors from across the state. We are proud of these students for representing Dickinson FFA with integrity and determination while competing at one of Texas’ premier youth clay target shooting events. We are excited to see where this opportunity takes our chapter. Go Gators! 🐊

Today’s team consisted of: Sullivan Parks, Lucas Whitten, George Tavarez, Kayson Bruce, and Haden Beck.

Living to Serve: Dickinson FFA, along with a few other FFA chapters from the Gulf Coast District, worked with Turtle Island Restoration to clean up the beach in Galveston this morning. Together, the group collected 28 lbs of trash, 300 cigarette butts and 230 nurdles (tiny, lentil-sized plastic pellets that serve as the fundamental raw building blocks for nearly all manufactured plastic products). .gulf
