✨ Meet Your New Family Nurse Practitioner! ✨
Hi, everyone! I’m so excited to introduce myself to the Dickinson community. My name is Athena Mavreas, and I’m honored to be seeing patients at Gator Town Pediatrics, Family & Urgent Care.
I’ve spent the last several years caring for patients as an Emergency Department nurse, and now I’m thrilled to bring that experience into family medicine and urgent care as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Caring for others has always been my passion, and I believe every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mom to two amazing daughters who keep me on my toes with gymnastics and all of life’s adventures. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll usually find me exploring the outdoors, chasing a beautiful sunset on horseback, spending time with family, or cheering on my girls.
Whether you need a sick visit, a wellness exam, management of a chronic condition, or care for your little ones, I’m here to help. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where every patient feels comfortable, valued, and confident in their care.
