Went for a lovely trail ride yesterday with a new horsey friend, Melissa. Not only was it a beautiful day and a wonderful ride, but my boy did so good loading (he’s been on a trailer only twice in the past ten years!), crossing water (which I haven’t done with him in almost as long), and navigating some rough terrain! I love him to pieces!!! 🤎

Had an excellent session this morning! My equine client, a hyper–anxious cribber, became so relaxed that she stopped cribbing altogether, kept yawning and stretching, and ended up lying down for a nap right there in the stall. As soon as we let her out, she went to lay in the sun for a while, which she’s usually too uptight to do. And, as of when I left (after doing another session), she still had not resumed her usually constant cribbing! 🤩
