October is Breast Cancer awareness month which means everyone is wearing pink and helping to raise awareness about breast cancer/ breast cancer survivors.

Our theme this year at Lane County Hospital is all Mummies need Mammograms including you!

In honor of that we would like to recognize that right here in Lane County we have our very own pink champion who works diligently to keep money locally available for Lane County Residents who are in need of financial assistance in order to have a Mammogram done.

So If you or someone you know is in need of a mammogram but hasn’t had one due to financial constraints please don’t wait any longer.

Go to this website https://www.lanecountycf.org/breastgrant and fill out an application to receive a voucher that will help with the costs associated with having a mammogram. (This is available all year long.)
