**Recognizing Excellence at Heritage Square**

Ervion has recently gone above and beyond in his role within the Dietary Department at Heritage Square, demonstrating exceptional dedication, a strong work ethic, and a genuine commitment to excellence. His efforts have not gone unnoticed.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, his supervisor, Larry Moore, wanted to express his appreciation by presenting Ervion with a small token of gratitude. This gesture serves as a meaningful acknowledgment of Ervion’s hard work and the positive difference he continues to make at Heritage Square.

The Art of Dixon: An Afternoon Tea Honoring Judy Dixon

*The Art of Dixon*, an afternoon tea dedicated to local watercolor artist Judy Dixon, drew a wonderful gathering of community members.

Heritage Square was delighted to host this special afternoon, featuring a curated display of some of Judy’s beautiful paintings. The celebration also honored her more than 40 years of artistic expression, with heartfelt remarks from Administrator Dan Howard and Lisa Janes.

Guests enjoyed a question-and-answer session with Judy, offering an opportunity to hear more about her artistic journey and life. The afternoon concluded on a warm and memorable note with a sing-along featuring members of Judy’s band, *House W**e*.

It was a beautiful afternoon celebrating Judy’s art, her remarkable talent, and the lasting impact she has made on the Dixon community.
A special thank you to Beth Johnson, program director, the activity department , kitchen staff and Stormy Liston.

Today we took a little trip to Murray's farm. We had a great time with Linda! Some of the brave ones even held a chicken! We all enjoyed apple c***r and donuts! Thank you Linda, for a fun morning!

Heritage Square's Lisa Janes, Marketing and Reception along with Phil Garnhart, Resident Liaison-Activity Department, attended the Rock River Health Fair and enjoyed sharing about the quality of care and handing out Heritage's well known sugar cookies.

Heritage Square Achieves Two Consecutive Years of Zero Nursing Deficiencies
Heritage Square is proud to announce that our facility recently completed its annual Illinois Department of Public Health survey for the second consecutive year without any nursing-related deficiencies.
For our residents and families, this achievement represents more than a successful survey. It reflects our ongoing commitment to our mission:
“Providing the Highest Quality Care in a Warm and Loving Environment.”
Our nursing team works every day to ensure that residents receive appropriate assessments, care, monitoring, treatment and follow-up. Achieving zero nursing-related deficiencies for two consecutive annual surveys demonstrates the consistency, dedication and teamwork of the entire Heritage Square staff.
We are proud of our employees and grateful to our residents and families for the trust they place in us.
Most importantly, quality care is not something we prepare for only when a survey team arrives. It is something we strive to provide every resident, every day.
