Rosa Ellen Foster, 58 of Providence, KY passed away Thursday June 18, 2026. Rosa loved cooking, spending time with her family and her grandbabies. She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Nancy Gant, her loving husband Allen Belt and 2 brothers Wayne Gant and Robert Page. Survived by 2 daughters Neomi Pryor and Ashley Foster both of Providence, KY; 1 brother Curtis Gant of Erin, TN; 2 grandchildren Kaylee (Blake) Groves and Brandon (Hannah) Alba; 5 great grandchildren that were her pride and joy; and 1 niece Jenni Gant. Barbara Delane Birdlebough 76, of Slaughters, KY passed away on Tuesday June 17, 2026 at Deaconess Gateway ER in Newburgh, IN. She was a member of Sassafras Grove Baptist Church in Sebree, KY, former Manager of Webster County Water District for 20 years, former President of Slaughters PTA, she enjoyed spending time with family, reading her bible and she prayed over her family daily. She was preceded in death by her parents Thurman and Ernestine Rakestraw and 1 son Nathan Townsend. She is survived by her husband JR Birdlebough of Slaughters, KY; 1 daughter Angela (Brian) Thomas of Slaughters, KY; 1 son Jackie Dale (Ashley) Townsend of Slaughters; 1 sister Amelia (Jeff) Zachary of Slaughters, KY; Sister-in-law Patty McConnell of Slaughters, KY; 3 granddaughters Whitney Gish of Henderson, KY., Lauren Hanor of Clay, KY. and Michala Cobb of Slaughters, KY.; 10 grandsons Chad Zachary of Evansville, IN., Blake Zachary of Princeton, IN., Zachary Thomas of Slaughters, KY., Lance Thomas of Evansville, IN., CJ Townsend of Providence, KY., Harley Townsend of Henderson, KY., Dustin Townsend of Morganfield, KY., Chase Townsend of Henderson, KY., Jordan Townsend of White Plains, KY and Cameron Townsend of Slaughters, KY; great granddaughter Addy Gish and 17 other great grandkids; nephew David Rakestraw and several other nieces and nephews. Barbara was a vey special mom, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed greatly. Funeral service will be 2PM Sunday June 21, 2026 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Cathy Nally 63, of Dixon, KY passed away on Monday June 8th, 2026 at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She had worked at Tyson’s in Sebree, KY. She was a member of Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. She was the daughter of the late James and Florida Whiteman. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Nally, 2 sisters Vicky Marsh and Connie Cowan, a brother James Whiteman and a grandson Kizer Walker. She is survived by her 4 daughters Misty Michelle Hancock of Dawson Springs, KY; Lesle Ann Walker of Evansville, IN; Kathy Kay Jones of Slaughters, KY and Jamie Lea Nally of Dixon, KY; her son Jerry Nally Jr. of Dixon, KY; 2 sisters Rachel Blackwell of Henderson and Stacy Whiteman of Madisonville, KY; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Kathy was born in Evansville, IN. to the late George and Carol Smith. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her dogs and cats, her husband, time on the farm, fishing and being a member of Caring for Webster County Cancer Fighters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her baby brother Randy Smith and her mother and father-in-law Raymond and Anna Mae Jones. She had worked at Carhartt for over 20 years in Providence and Sebree. Debbie was an active member of Star Hope General Baptist Church in Liberty, KY and past member of the Dixon Eastern Star #382. She loved gardening, canning, shopping and volunteering at Common Garments in Nebo, KY. She also owned and operated Deb’s Smoke Shop in Providence for several years. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy and Wilma George. She was preceded in death by her husband Lucian Townsell, a daughter Candy Lynn Townsell, a brother James Everett “Porky” George Jr. Survivors include her sons Lucian Scott Townsell(Chelsea Smitson) of Robards, KY and James Michael Townsell of Providence, KY; 4 sisters Sandra Courtney and Nancy Bumpus both of Dixon, KY; Trisha Atherton of Rumsey, KY and Kristie Stills of Slaughters, KY; grandchildren Kaylene, McKenna, Jordan Layne, Jordan Scott, Kaylie and Courtney(Luke); 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Lucian Townsell 76, of Providence, KY passed away in Hanson, KY on Sunday May 24th, 2026. Lucian was a Truck Driver, having drove for Davis Trucking and also Tyson Foods. He was a member of the Star Hope General Baptist Church in Liberty, KY. Lucian worked on becoming ordained and achieved that goal and was very proud of that accomplishment. He was a US Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War, He served as Past Commander of the VFW Post #5484 in Providence, KY, and also served as Past Commander with the State VFW Organization. He was a member of the Dixon Masonic Lodge #911. Lucian loved helping people, enjoyed grilling and smoking meat, and also helped his wife operate Deb's Smoke Shop in Providence for several years. He was the son of the late James Marion and Lucy Stewart Townsell. He was preceded in death by a daughter Candy Lynn Townsell, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Debbie George Townsell of Providence, KY; his sons Lucian Scott Townsell(Chelsea Smitson) of Robards, KY and James Michael Townsell of Providence, KY; a sister Velmer Garrett of Slaughters, KY; 3 brothers Paul Townsell of St. Charles, KY; Johnny Townsell and George Townsell both of Madisonville, KY; grandchildren Kaylene, McKenna, Jordan Layne, Jordan Scott, Kaylie and Courtney; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Dixon First Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. Stephanie loved going to Lake Barkley and camping with her family. She was an avid UK Football fan and loved to go watch and support the Wildcats. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father James Albert Oliver, a brother Pat Oliver, and her Father-in-Law Rick Main. Mike Fletcher 75, of Corydon, KY passed away on May 2nd, 2026. He was born on February 11th, 1951 in Henderson, KY. Mike is survived by his wife of 51 years Donna Powers Fletcher; his daughter Rachel(Ben) Garrison; his son Joe Fletcher; his son-in-law Kyle Hoemke; a sister Carol Jean Moseley; a brother Charles Allen Fletcher, Mike also had two granddaughters of whom he was very proud, Emma Grace and Ella Kate Garrison. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Ruth Fletcher, his sister Cathy Fletcher and his daughter Meredith Fletcher Hoemke. Mike was a member of the Poole Church of Christ throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats.
