Summer is most kids’ time off from sports.
No practices. No games. Just a break from the grind.
But this is usually when something interesting happens.
That knee pain, foot pain, back pain, or stiff neck they mentioned at the end of last season — the one you just didn’t have time to fully get looked at — doesn’t always go away.
Ask your kid how that pain has been.
You’d be surprised how often they’ll say it’s still there… just not as intense right now because training and competition aren’t pushing it as hard.
This is the down time that matters.
