Charline A. Carpenter, 65, of the Town of Oppenheim, New York passed away peacefully on Friday evening, June 12, 2026 at St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with her family surrounding her with love and support.

In keeping with Charline’s wishes, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held at a date and time to be announced in the future. Arthur P. Mayhew, Sr. 94, of Salisbury, New York, better known as “Papa Art” went to be with the ones who went before him, peacefully early Sunday morning, June 7, 2026, with his family by his side.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the locally owned and family operated, Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329, Cremations and Funerals. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning, June 20, 2026 at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 31 North Helmer Avenue, Dolgeville, New York 13329 with Fr. Brian K. Slezak officiating. Procession will follow carrying Art, Sr. with the family tractor and hay wagon to St. Joseph’s Cemetery where he will be laid rest between his beloved wife and grandson. All are welcome to attend.

Rest In Peace Mrs. Patricia H. Wayne

Patricia H. Wayne, 85, of Oppenheim, New York, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, May 19, 2026 in the comfort of her own home. At the time of her passing, she had the love of her husband and daughter by her side.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, New York 12871. Please arrive at 12:10 p.m. in order for the cemetery es**rt to guide the procession to the correct pavilion for the service. Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams will officiate the service, members of the United States Army Honor Guard will accord her funeral honors, and then she will be laid to rest by cemetery personnel. If you wish to visit her grave after the service, please give the cemetery personnel appropriate time to take care of the burial before visiting her grave. All are welcome to attend.

A memorial mass service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2025 at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Dolgeville, New York with Father Brian K. Slezak officiating.
