✨ Back Together Again ✨

There is something special about being back in the office together.

Over the past several months, Dr. Bill and Pam did an outstanding job holding things together, and we are incredibly grateful for their outstanding care for our patients. We truly couldn’t have done it without them. I know Dr. Bill enjoyed seeing previous patients and they enjoyed seeing him (in a different role of course).

That said, it just feels right for Dr. Eric and Jen to be working side by side again. After years of caring for patients together, there is a unique energy, knowledge, and experience that comes from being in the office as a team.

This past weekend, we even attended a seminar focused on female hormones and came home with so much new information and excitement to share. This was focused on perimenopause, menopause, and post menopause. We are energized, inspired, and more committed than ever to helping our patients achieve their best health.

Thank you for your continued trust and support. We love what we do, and we are grateful to be back together doing it.

Jen got out of the hospital today—a couple of days early—after her stem cell transplant. After more than two weeks of being in complete “lockdown,” the first thing she wanted to do was soak up the sun ☀️

She actually could have been discharged yesterday, but they kept her one more night just to monitor things. The nurses were amazed they were sending her home this early, as it’s not typical… but they were even more amazed by her ANC—the number they watch so closely.

In just three days, her ANC went from 0 → 238 → 1,778 → 6,557. Normally, that number climbs much more slowly—starting in double digits, then triple digits for several days, and often not even reaching 1,500 for quite some time. So yes… kind of incredible 🤣

Jen stayed on Standard Process the entire time, continued with chiropractic care, and ate really well—we brought our own food.

Eliminate the interference (by getting chiropractic adjustments), give the body what it needs (nutrition), and allow the miracle of God’s hand to do the healing.

It has been awhile, so here is an update for you!
So back tracking just a bit…

Jasper took the first shift on this part of the journey. He got me settled in the “condo” (hotel) and met with the doctors and nurses. We had some great food and wonderful visits.

Then my sis, Angie, took over and she was with me through many hospital visits and the stem cell harvest. We did manage to walk over 13k steps at least four days during her week stay. We played lots of games and enjoyed the food scene! My back is doing AMAZING!

But now Dr Eric and I are back together again ❤️!

And of course…the first thing Dr. Eric thought he needed to do was try his hand at barbering (yes…this was 100% my idea 😄✂️). His hands are pretty amazing as you all know.

Today feels like the beginning of the final stretch of this journey, and we just want you all to know…we are doing really well. I just got checked in to the hospital and things are going to be great! Truly. The love, prayers, messages, gifts, and cards we have received through all of this have touched our hearts more than we could ever put into words ❤️

We find ourselves looking forward to the simple things again…a return to normal life…and we just have this feeling that it’s closer than we think.

Dr. Eric will be here with me for the next few weeks (which I am so grateful for), and he plans to return to the office on April 20th.
