Babies go through growth spurts where they eat more often than usual. This can happen around 2-3 weeks, 6 weeks, and 3 months. Although it can be tiring, it is normal and usually only lasts a few days! Continue to feed on demand to ensure your body continues to produce enough milk. Fuel your body by drinking plenty of water and eating a variety of healthy foods. Reach out to WIC if you have questions. https://wicbreastfeeding.fns.usda.gov/cluster-feeding-and-growth-spurts

Around 6 months, most babies start eating solid foods, but breastmilk or formula should still be the main source of nutrition. Breastfeeding continues to provide important vitamins, healthy fats, and immune support during this stage. Check with your baby's health care provider to make sure they are developmentally ready to start solids. Your WIC nutritionist is always here to support you, too! https://ow.ly/RAlH50YYeO9
