Once a month, we gather with women in our community who are walking through the same season of life:

Postpartum.

This season looks different for everyone. Some are riding the mountaintop highs, some are deep in the trenches, and most find themselves somewhere in between. It is a beautiful season filled with joy, growth, and love—but it can also be incredibly challenging to navigate.

What began as a small group of women gathering together six years ago has grown into such a sweet blessing. It has become a place where women can come exactly as they are and find connection, encouragement, and support from others who deeply understand this season of life.

Along the way, I’ve been blessed to meet so many amazing families.

If you had told me years ago that this would be my life, I never would have believed it. Owning a business. Supporting mothers through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Being invited into some of the most sacred moments of a family’s story and walking alongside people I’ve grown to love so much.

It truly is such a sweet, sweet blessing.

5 sweet WWM babes welcomed by Midwife Jordan in May.

A third time mom who finally got the home birth she has desired. Listening to her body & welcoming her baby after several weeks of prodromal labor with the incredible support of her husband. A sweet baby GIRL (surprise gender) now joined her two older brothers.

A fourth time mama who’s one job was to not call me to late, in which she did indeed call me to late. Sweet baby boy was born right in to his dad’s hands as I was on my way to their home. A beautiful HBAC (home birth after cesarean) that God ordained so perfectly.

A first time mama who worked so incredibly hard to get her baby here. After days of prodromal/early labor & hours of active labor she made the brave decision to transfer for an epidural and much needed sleep. After almost 5 hours of pushing she welcomed her sweet baby girl earth side.

A fourth time mama who woke up out of her sleep to a strong contraction. I received a call that she thought labor was starting and I immediately started out to her home. Less than 50 minutes later she birthed her baby right in to her husbands hands on her bathroom floor.

A first time mama whose labor began a few days after her “due date”. Her water broke & it was discovered that there was thick meconium present. After an informed consent conversation her & her husband decided transferring in for birth would be best. Myself & their doula () joined them at a local hospital for support. What a powerhouse team this couple was! Leaning on each other throughout labor. Mama listened to her body so well & dad never left her side. Constantly speaking words of encouragement & prayers over his wife and baby. After a quick labor they welcomed their sweet baby GIRL (surprise gender) earth side.

Such a beautiful month with so many blessings. Excited & praying over what June holds🫶🏻

Spending this rainy Sunday making some updates to my website.

Adding prenatal & postpartum care (with plans to birth in the hospital) as an offered service-already have 4 families signed up for this option and so happy the community is taking advantage of this!

Small changes to our maternity network including an amazing IBCLC service Milky Mamas, LLC (stay tuned as we have a few more additions to our maternity network coming soon).

Updated BLOG featuring some beautiful birth stories from some amazing WWM families.

We are so honored to now offer prenatal & postpartum care for families planning a hospital birth — while still receiving the personalized, natural-minded care you deserve.

Think:
• Longer visits (45 minutes each)
• Evidence-based education
• No waiting rooms - homey office environment
• Support for your whole journey, not just your appointments
• kid friendly environment with toys & a play area so the whole family can be involved and a part of this special time.

You shouldn’t have to choose between hospital birth and individualized care. You can have both.

Pregnancy and postpartum are sacred seasons, and we’re here to walk with you every step of the way.

*this service does not include me offering doula or hospital support-it will be solely medical care (with an emphasis on the whole woman-physical/mental/spiritual) during the prenatal & postpartum period for families who are choosing hospital care for their birth. I recognize the importance of separate roles of a doula vs midwife. As always, I recommend hiring a doula for labor support/education & an enhancement for you labor and birth experience*
