Yesterday was the annual mock car crash for DHS juniors and seniors as they prepare for prom this weekend. This event is put on by the Douglas Volunteer Fire Department in conjunction with several agencies around Converse County and Wyoming.

We hope the DHS students have a fun and SAFE prom!

There will be a Mock Car Crash for Douglas High School students Thursday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the DHS parking lot near the baseball fields. There will be emergency vehicles, sirens, rescue equipment and possibly a Life-For-Flight helicopter landing and taking off.

Just a heads up so everyone knows what's going on and isn't alarmed!
