2016!
Just as I was about to not be “on trend” with this 2016 thing, it hit me!
There I was hosting a morning radio show. I thought I had hit my peak role in my career. This was it. It was new, innovative, and challenged me. The hours were long, I was away from my kids, but it was a career making role! That was until my very last boss said to me one day, quite emphatically , “you’ll never make more money anywhere than you do working for me.”
Ouch! Harsh, am I right?!
Turned out to be the best thing for me. 2016 is when I enrolled in massage school, took back my power, dreamed of a world where I could work, and most importantly, be there for my kids! As for my last ever boss and his statement? Turns out, my very last boss was wrong! And, that has made all the difference! 😉
