🌷 Tea Party with the Girl Scouts! 🌷
We had the loveliest afternoon at the Girl Scout Mother–Daughter Tea Party at Dover Place! 💕 The delicious sandwiches, dainty cookies, and flavored teas were such a treat. 🍪🫖 We even wore the adorable hats we made with the 4‑H Club! 🎀👒 A truly special day spent with wonderful friends. Thank you for including us! 💚

A HUGE thank‑you to the amazing Potpourri Garden Club for donating beautiful handmade raised garden beds for our Dover Place residents! 🌱💚
Your generosity didn’t stop there, you also got us started with plenty of plants, and our residents are thrilled to begin their new patio garden club. 🌼
Thank you for thinking of us, supporting our community, and giving our residents the opportunity to continue the hobbies they love. Your kindness truly makes a difference. 🌷✨

Today we celebrated our AMAZING Dover Place Volunteers! From those who honor our Veterans, to our churches, schools, 4‑H leaders, creative groups, flower friends, musicians, pet therapy teams, dancers, and so many more—your kindness fills our community with joy.
Our Food Service Team treated everyone to a delicious brunch, we enjoyed wonderful entertainment by Sol Knopf, and most importantly, we cherished time together.
Thank you to ALL our dedicated volunteers for the heart, talent, and love you share with Dover Place. You make a difference every single day! 💛

✨ Dover Place Spotlight ✨ 🎭 Family Milestones!

Dover Place is beaming with pride as we celebrate our resident Barbara, whose grandson is a main cast member in the Tony‑nominated Broadway show The Lost Boys! 🎭✨

We hosted a fun watch party, featured on Good Morning America and enjoyed the original movie together before Barbara headed to New York for her BIG weekend to see the show live! She radiated excitement, joy, and pride, and we’re thrilled to cheer her on from right here in Delaware! Congratulations to Barbara and her wonderful family! 🌟💛

Please help us welcome Tom, a proud Marine Veteran now part of our Dover Place community! He’s already joined our Monthly Men’s Veteran Mingle, exercise classes, and socials. This Memorial Day, let’s come together to honor Tom and all the incredible Veterans who call Dover Place home. Their service and sacrifice are the reason we enjoy the freedoms we have today!

The Modern Maturity Center Soulsations Line Dancers lit up Dover Place with pure joy, rhythm, and personality! Their energy is contagious, their moves are electric, and we always love having them with us. We can’t wait to welcome them back for more dancing, smiles, and soul‑shaking fun!
