Happy 6 year anniversary to Stone Catchers Counseling! Since opening on Sept 1, 2020, we have achieved the following:
-Ran 96,446 sessions
-Served 2334 clients
-Generated $11,287,986 in revenue
-Ensured all full-time staff make a minimum of $77 per hour, allowing them to earn 6 figures by working 25 hours per week
-Funded 14 trips for staff members to travel around the world for professional and personal growth
-ALWAYS prioritized lower-status communities of color who are on public aid.
Despite the never ending pain of unjust and unwarranted Medicaid Managed Care audits constantly harassing us and trying to take us down, we have continued to push through to provide just & equitable mental healthcare care to those who need it the most.
Thank you to all of our clients, staff and loved ones. A very special shout out to our community who has embraced and supported us throughout this journey.

We stand in unwavering solidarity with our teammate and therapist, Hamna Amin, and her family as they endure an unjust and deeply painful situation. What her father is experiencing is unacceptable and reflects harms that no family should ever have to face.

As a mental health practice grounded in dignity, humanity and justice, we are appalled by this treatment and we demand accountability and equity. Families deserve safety, due process, and compassion, not fear, separation and trauma.

We call on our community to stand with Hamna, to speak out against these injustices and to advocate for policies that protect families rather than tear them apart. Silence is not neutrality-it is complicity.

Hamna, we see you and we support you. We will continue to use our voices, our platform and our collective power to demand justice for your father and for all families impacted by these harms.

Asif Amin Cheema's daughter says he has “severe” health issues, having previously suffered two heart attacks, high cholesterol and blood pressure. He was scheduled to be tested for colon cancer the week of his arrest.

What an inspiring afternoon spent with the amazing Erica Mason, a q***r POC artist who uses her voice to bring light into heavy places. 🌟
Through her music and poetry, we explored themes of healing, hope, depression, anxiety and the realities of suicidal ideation. Her honesty and vulnerability opened the door for connection and courage.
We left feeling uplifted, supported and reminded that our struggles don’t define us- our community can help carry us through

Internal Family Systems (IFS) training in Cape Cod! We are grateful for the scholarship we received from the Cape Cod Institute which allowed us to attend this training. We will continue to use advanced therapeutic modalities to serve lower-status communities.

We’re excited to share that we now have two Level 1 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapists on staff, Malak Hamdan and Sabrina Albert, who accept all Medicaid plans! IFS is a deeply transformative therapeutic model that, when grounded in cultural humility and collective care, supports clients in healing from internalized oppression and reconnecting with their empowered Self. We remain committed to providing just and equitable mental healthcare for all, with a continued focus on serving lower-status communities of color.
