Recovery taking longer than it used to? That's not just aging. It's often a signal that your body needs more than time to heal well.

As we accumulate training history, past injuries, and years of physical demands, the patterns in how we move and how our tissue responds to stress change. Without support, the body compensates. Recovery slows down, certain areas stay tight or sore, and what used to bounce back in a day now lingers for a week.

The combination of manual therapy, laser treatment, and targeted rehabilitation is designed for exactly this situation. Chiropractic care addresses the joint mobility issues that accumulate over time and limit how well your body absorbs and recovers from physical stress. Class IV Laser Therapy accelerates the cellular repair process in muscles and connective tissue. Massage from Ausra Gecas works on the soft tissue restrictions that build up with training history.

This is smarter recovery, not just more rest. Our team builds a plan around what your specific body needs to recover efficiently and keep performing.

If you've noticed your recovery window widening, book a consultation. Let's figure out what your body is telling you and build a better plan.

That persistent tightness between your shoulder blades, the knot in your upper trap that never quite releases, the tension that lives in your neck by Wednesday afternoon. These aren't just soreness. They're your body holding the physical signature of ongoing stress.

Chronic muscle tension from stress has real downstream effects. It restricts circulation to the tissue, which means muscles aren't getting adequate oxygen and metabolic waste isn't clearing efficiently. Over time, it contributes to headaches, referred pain, restricted range of motion, and a general state of feeling physically locked up.

Massage therapy is one of the most effective clinical tools for addressing this. Ausra Gecas, our certified therapeutic, sports, and orthopedic massage therapist with 20 years of experience, understands the specific patterns that stress creates in the body and works directly on the tissue that needs release. This isn't a relaxation luxury. It's healthcare that addresses a real physiological problem.

Pairing massage with acupuncture extends the benefit by calming the nervous system signals that keep those muscles in a state of contraction. The combination produces longer-lasting relief than either alone.

If tension is a constant companion, it doesn't have to be. Book a session with Ausra or our acupuncture team and let's work on it.

IVF is a remarkable tool for many families. It's also not the only path, and for some patients, natural fertility support alone is enough. For others, natural therapies alongside IVF significantly improve outcomes. The key is knowing what your body actually needs.

Acupuncture has been studied extensively in the context of IVF. Research shows it can improve egg quality, support uterine lining thickness, and increase implantation success rates. Gary Pecho builds acupuncture protocols around your specific IVF timeline, timing sessions to complement your cycle and transfer dates for maximum effect.

For patients trying naturally, acupuncture helps regulate cycle irregularity, improve ovarian function, and reduce the cortisol that works against conception. Chiropractic care from Dr. Kristin Wodka ensures the pelvis and spine are aligned and the nervous system is functioning optimally throughout the process.

Whether you're in the early stages of trying, preparing for an IVF cycle, or navigating IUI, our team provides integrative care that works with whatever path you're on, not instead of it.

If you'd like to understand how natural therapies could support your fertility picture, book a consultation. We'll start with a full conversation about your history and goals.

One of the most common misconceptions about chiropractic care is that it's mainly about cracking backs and managing flare-ups. At Point of Health, our approach is built around something different: functional, rehabilitation-based care that addresses the root cause of pain and movement limitations.

Functional chiropractic starts with understanding how your body actually moves. Rather than focusing solely on pain, we assess your movement patterns, joint mechanics, and muscle function to understand where the breakdown is happening. Treatment is built around restoring how your body is designed to work.

This means your care plan typically includes chiropractic adjustments to restore joint mobility, targeted rehabilitation exercises to rebuild functional strength and stability, and soft tissue work where needed. The goal isn't just to feel better in the short term — it's to address the structural and movement issues that led to the problem in the first place.

Functional rehab-based care works especially well for people who've been told their pain is "just something they have to live with," athletes dealing with recurring issues, and anyone who wants lasting results rather than ongoing maintenance. Book a consultation and let's look at what's actually driving your symptoms.

Post-surgical recovery can feel discouraging when progress is slower than expected, or when you're still dealing with stiffness, restricted range of motion, or lingering discomfort weeks after the procedure. This is one of the areas where integrative care makes a measurable difference.

Gentle chiropractic care helps restore proper motion to areas that may have compensated during and after surgery. Mechanical traction supports spinal decompression where applicable. Massage therapy addresses scar tissue formation, improves circulation to healing tissue, and works on the surrounding muscles that have been guarded and tense throughout recovery. Class IV Laser Therapy accelerates tissue healing at the cellular level, reducing inflammation without medications.

These aren't replacements for surgical follow-up care. They're the additional layer of support that helps your body get from "cleared by the surgeon" to actually feeling functional again.

If your recovery isn't progressing the way you'd hoped, or you want to optimize healing from the start, we'd love to talk. Book a post-surgical consultation with our team and let's see what we can do together.
