Making a Positive Impact Beyond Oak Trace:

Oak Trace resident Dave Humphreys was recently featured in Better Good, a new book by Downers Grove resident Scott Curran that explores how individuals can make a positive impact on the world around them.

On Wednesday evening, Dave joined Scott for a book discussion and signing Anderson Bookshop, where Dave was recognized as one of two individuals featured in the book.

We’re proud to see Dave’s story and commitment to making a difference celebrated in his community.

Our residents and team members brought their favorite travel memories to life for Vacation Souvenir Day! From Australia and Africa to Hawaii and Japan, cruises, hiking adventures and everywhere in between, our community was filled with stories, souvenirs and plenty of smiles.

One of the best parts of community life at Oak Trace is getting to know the people around us. Not just where they’ve been, but the memories and experiences that have shaped them. This was a fun reminder that every souvenir has a story, and every story is worth sharing! 🌎✨

📚 Oak Trace’s Hometown Trailblazer Makes Headlines Again!

Some people retire from a position, but they never retire from making a difference. Oak Trace resident Dave Humphreys is back in the spotlight after recently stepping down from the Downers Grove Public Library Board following an incredible 32 years of service.

A longtime Downers Grove volunteer, community leader, and advocate, Dave has certainly left his mark on the community, and he’s not done yet! We’re proud to call this hometown legend an Oak Trace resident! 🌟

🏴‍☠️ Ahoy, Mateys! What a Day at Oak Trace⚓️

We traded our everyday routines for a little pirate adventure at Oak Trace! Our residents and families enjoyed an afternoon of storytelling from our very own resident Mandy, creative crafts, face painting, balloon swords, and a treasure hunt through the
courtyard. 🗺️💰

There was plenty of laughter, imagination, and family fun along the way. From little buccaneers to seasoned sailors, we all had a blast making memories together!

Life at Oak Trace? We’d say it’s pretty treasure-worthy! 🏴‍☠️✨

What a night! Our residents enjoyed the incredible sounds of One of These Nights, an Eagles Tribute Band, bringing classic hits, great energy, and plenty of sing-along moments to Oak Trace.
