💜 I work with a lot of people pleasers, and it’s more than you think.
People pleasing isn’t just “being nice.”
It’s constantly scanning the room for who might be upset.
It’s rehearsing texts before sending them.
It’s saying yes when your body is begging for rest.
It’s believing your worth depends on how comfortable other people feel around you.

For a lot of people, people pleasing started as protection.
Maybe keeping the peace felt safer.
Maybe being easy-going or perfect got you praise, attention, or approval.
Maybe you learned that taking up less space meant fewer consequences.

But over time, constantly prioritizing everyone else can leave you disconnected from yourself.
Break the cycle and reach out for support! I’m just a text away.
