Have you ever noticed that the harder you try to stop worrying, the stronger that anxiety seems to become?

Many people spend time trying to find certainty.

"If I could just know everything will be okay..."

When that doesn't work, they try something else: they push the worry away.

They criticize themselves for being anxious.

They tell themselves they should "just get over it."

But fighting anxiety often makes it stronger.
We end up carrying not only anxiety, but also shame, guilt, and frustration for still feeling anxious.

What if the goal wasn't to eliminate uncertainty?

What if it wasn't to stop feeling anxious altogether?

What if the goal was building enough confidence in yourself to handle whatever comes next?

Therapy helps you build trust in yourself so you're ready for whatever comes along.

You may not know exactly what will happen, but you can trust yourself to respond when it does.

I offer individual anxiety therapy for adults in Doylestown and Bucks County, providing a supportive, non-judgmental space to slow things down and regain a sense of control.

Sleeping with an ADHD brain can sometimes feel frustrating and be an up all night process. Giving your brain time to wind-down at the end of the day can help you fall asleep faster.

Little things can keep you on track each day. Leaving notes around the house can be a simple way to give yourself reminders. Leave notes by the front door, on the fridge, and in the bathroom to get your day started on the right foot - and don't forget a few kind thoughts for yourself!

Many adults with ADHD struggle with more than attention and focus.

They may find it difficult to start tasks, stay organized, follow through on goals, or trust themselves to get things done consistently. Over time, these challenges can affect self-esteem and confidence.

I'm excited to share that I am expanding my services to include neurofeedback for adults and teens with ADHD and anxiety.

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive training process that helps the brain develop more effective patterns of functioning. Some individuals choose neurofeedback to support attention, focus, executive functioning, and self-regulation.

I'm currently accepting inquiries from individuals interested in learning more about upcoming neurofeedback services.

If you have ADHD, struggling to start or follow through on tasks isn’t just about motivation.

There’s often a pattern happening underneath it.

When you approach a task, your nervous system can become activated—this might feel like overwhelm, dread, tension, or a strong urge to avoid. At the same time, your thoughts can quickly react:
“I can’t do this.”
“This is too much.”

From there, it’s easy to fall into:
➡️ avoidance
➡️ negative self-talk
➡️ feeling worse about yourself

Over time, this doesn’t just affect productivity.

It begins to affect how you see yourself and how much you trust yourself to follow through.

👉 ADHD isn’t just a focus issue —it’s a self-esteem and self-trust issue.

Each time a task doesn’t get done, it’s not just about the task alone. It's part of a larger picture.

It becomes:
“What’s wrong with me?”
“Why can’t I follow through?”

And that’s where self-esteem begins to take a hit.

I call this the ADHD Self-Doubt Loop.

The goal isn’t to push harder. It’s to interrupt the pattern and rebuild how you relate to yourself:
👉 Regulate
👉 Re-engage
👉 Reframe
👉 Rebuild

Because this work isn’t just about getting things done.

It's learning about your ADHD brain. And it’s about rebuilding self-trust and strengthening self-esteem over time.

Winter can be beautiful… and heavy.

If you’ve been feeling more tired, less motivated, or not quite like yourself lately, you’re not alone. The shorter days and colder weather can impact mood, energy, and focus.
Sometimes “winter blues” are temporary. Sometimes they’re a sign you could use a little extra support.

A couple small ways to support yourself this season:

• Keep one small, consistent routine (like a morning coffee ritual or evening wind-down time).
• If you feel overwhelmed, try a simple grounding exercise — name 5 things you can see, 4 you can feel, 3 you can hear, 2 you can smell, and 1 you can taste.
