Lanier came to therapy with the belief that emotions are something to push through, not feel. Therapy taught her that having emotions is simply part of the human experience. When those emotions feel too big to manage alone, seeking treatment becomes important. Today, Lanier channels everything she learned into her work as a therapist, helping others find the same permission to feel that once changed her life.
