LPN/MA Job Description

Purpose:
1. To assist the providers in the treatment of patients and make sure they leave our clinic happy and satisfied with their care.
2. To maintain a working order and cleanliness of clinical supplies, clinical rooms, and equipment
3. Follow-up with our patient's care when needed

Product:
1. An organized and efficient flow of patients for the providers as a result of the efficiency of the
LPN and clinical team as a whole
Job Responsibilities:
1. Greet and es**rt patients to the clinical exam room obtaining all required information (including but not limited to HPI, CC, med list, allergies, vital signs)
2. Opens patient rooms in the mornings at
7:45 AM and closes rooms when patients are finished for the day
3. Assists providers with in-office procedures (ex:
Cauterization, drops for cerumen removal, laryngoscopy, rhinoscopy, nasal splint removal)
4. Gives antibiotic and steroid injections when needed, when ordered by providers
5. Return patient messages, test results, and call in prescriptions for patients when needed
6. Assist LPN who is performing allergy scratch testing when needed. Help read scratch testing and give copies of scratch testing results when needed.
7. Helping the medical secretaries and allergy
