We are grateful to the A.J. and Sigismunda Palumbo Charitable Trust for their generous support of Penn Highlands DuBois!

Their grant funding made it possible to purchase a GE AMX Navigate Portable X-ray unit, providing our caregivers with advanced technology to deliver safer, more efficient care directly at the patient’s bedside.

This investment will help improve the patient experience, support timely diagnoses, and ensure our community has access to high-quality healthcare close to home.

Penn Highlands Healthcare is proud to host the Lois Orange Ducoeur Walk of Hope on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Palmer Park (Pavilion #1) in Donora, PA. Registration and check-in begins at 9am, the walk starts at 10am!

This year, during the Walk of Hope to recognize, honor, and support the fight against all types of cancer. Participants are encouraged to personalize their walk-day attire by wearing the awareness color of the cancer they are supporting or lavender, the universal color representing the fight against all cancers.

Every dollar raised from this inspiring event stays local and goes directly to Penn Highlands Mon Valley to help ensure our families, friends, and neighbors have access to world-class cancer care and comprehensive support services right here in our community.

Don't forget to purchase tickets and participate in the Dr. Gary DuGan Memorial Basket Raffle, sponsored by Penn Highlands Fund Development. Ticket sales run Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-8:30AM & 11am-2PM through August 28, 2026 in the atrium of Penn Highlands DuBois.

Every dollar raised from the raffle will benefit the Penn Highlands Graduate Medical Education (GME) program.
