City of Hope's Blood Donor Center City of Hope's Blood Donor Center is one of the largest, hospital-based centers of blood and platelets in the country.

Our center is located inside the Michael Amini Transfusion Medicine Center, where we are able to collect, analyze and process blood products. Patients at City of Hope – most of whom are fighting cancer – rely on more than 37,000 units of blood and platelets each year for their survival. And every one of those units comes from people like you – family, friends and other caring individuals who want

to make a difference. Because there is no substitute for human blood, your donation is a lifeline to the men, women and children in our care.
