The theme for EMS Week 2026 is "Improving Outcomes, Together". We would like to thank and recognize all of our employees that work hard to help us provide access. Behind the med crews and pilots are mechanics, program managers, dispatchers, and many others that are an integral part of our EMS mission. Thank you, Laurens County EMS - Dublin Ga, for inviting us to share a meal with your team members this week. We are proud to serve this community with you and are grateful for the relationship we have with you and all of our EMS partners.

Our Program Director, Burt Dixon, presented our BPS, Jay Akin, with a new set of wings today. Jay has safely completed 750 patient flights. Jay accomplished this milestone in just 3 1/2 years. We are lucky to have him as a part of our Air Evac 176 family. Congratulations, Jay!

Saturday, we were honored to be a part of the Kind's Cup 4th Annual "Wheels and Wings"event. Along with our AE family from 102, we had a great time visiting with old and new friends alike. Thank you, Kid's Cup, for what you do for our community and we can't wait until next year!

We are excited to share a crew from our local AirEvac LifeTeam will be making an appearance at PeeWee Jam on April 18. They will be here to answer any questions & provide information on their services.

It’s unfortunate if you ever need this service, but this sport is inherently dangerous, very dangerous. It’s not a matter of IF you crash – it’s WHEN.

Fortunately, we have 2 AirEvac locations local to TenMile MX in Laurens County, GA.

- The crew plans to fly in before racing starts; however, the aircraft must respond to any emergency calls received. Separate representatives will be on-site to share information.

Today is Certified Nurses Day. All of our nurses at Air Evac 176 hold at least one advanced certification. Holding and advanced certification such as CCRN, CTRN, CEN, and CFRN demonstrates advanced clinical knowledge and commitment to excellence. Certified nurses contribute to higher quality care, patient safety, and better clinical outcomes.
