🏆 Best in Taste has a pretty delicious ring to it!

Our Friendship Village of Dublin Culinary Team took home the top honor at the 2026 Taste of New Albany, competing against nearly 30 restaurants and food vendors.

The winning dish? Montaraz Ibérico Pork Loin with Mojo Verde and Romesco Sauce — a Spanish-inspired creation featuring premium Ibérico pork, vibrant sauces and a little serrano pepper for a kick. 🌶️

We’re especially proud that our team had the opportunity to showcase to the greater Central Ohio community the creativity, skill, and passion they bring to the table at Friendship Village of Dublin every day.

Creativity looks a little different for everyone, and that's what made this fair-inspired collage project so special.

Each of our artists put their own spin on the theme, creating everything from lighthouses to schoolhouses and homesteads. Every piece tells a story, just like the person who made it.

One story we especially loved was that of resident Don B.'s. While spending time with his granddaughter, he discovered the joy of creating together in our Creative Arts Center, making a collage they'll always share.

We love seeing creativity bring people together. ❤️

We had a buzzing good time in Rowan House yesterday! 🐝

Together, we learned about the different kinds of bees you might spot outside, the important role they play in our ecosystem, and how honey makes its journey from the hive to the table. We even got to sample raw honey and hold real honeycomb for a hands-on look at the incredible work of honeybees.

A big thank you to the Central Ohio Beekeepers Association for sharing your knowledge (and delicious honey!) and to the Ohio State Master Gardeners for joining us on this sweet adventure.
