Ragweed or outdoor mold… what’s actually making you miserable this fall? 🍂

Both can bring on the sneezing, congestion, and itchy, watery eyes, but they’re coming from two different triggers.

🌿 Ragweed = pollen
🍄 Outdoor mold = spores

And as fall settles in, outdoor mold can become especially relevant with damp leaves, soil, and all that outdoor debris collecting around us.

So if your allergies seem to flare up every fall and you can’t quite figure out why, your trigger may not be as obvious as you think.

Why are you suddenly sneezing like crazy in September? 👀

Meet ragweed…the fall allergy nobody asked for. 🍂

It’s one of the biggest culprits behind those sudden September symptoms, and the frustrating part? You don’t have to see a giant patch of weeds in your yard to feel the effects. Ragweed pollen can travel, which means the sneezing, congestion, itchy eyes, and all around misery can find you pretty much anywhere.

And while we’re clearing things up… ragweed and goldenrod are NOT the same thing. Goldenrod gets blamed for a lot of fall allergies, but ragweed is usually the real troublemaker.

Eczema in children can feel so frustrating, but you are not alone 💛

Here are 4 things every parent should know:

1️⃣ It’s an immune response, not just dry skin. Eczema is tied to how your child’s immune system reacts, which is why moisturizer alone often isn’t enough.
2️⃣ Triggers are different for every child. What flares up one kiddo’s skin may not affect another. Identifying your child’s specific triggers is key.
3️⃣ Skin is your body’s largest organ. What you put on it matters just as much as what you put in it…ingredients count.
4️⃣ Warmer weather = more flare ups. Heat and sweat are two of the biggest eczema triggers, so it’s common to see things get worse this time of year.

The good news? With the right plan and the right care team, most kids see real improvement. 🙌
