During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we also recognize Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day. A time to honor those living with stage IV breast cancer and raise awareness of the unique challenges they face every day.

At CCMG, we are privileged to care for patients living with metastatic breast cancer. Their courage, resilience, and determination inspire us daily. While metastatic breast cancer is not currently curable, ongoing advances in research and treatment continue to provide hope, helping many patients live longer and with a better quality of life.

Today, we stand with our patients, survivors, caregivers, and families. We honor every story, remember those we have lost, and advocate for continued research, expanded treatment options, and the compassionate support every person deserves. Together, we can raise awareness, inspire hope, and work toward a future where metastatic breast cancer is no longer a life-limiting diagnosis.

Today, we raise awareness for salivary gland cancer, a rare and complex head and neck cancer that often goes unrecognized. By increasing awareness and encouraging early evaluation, we can help improve diagnosis, expand treatment options, and offer hope to those affected.

At CCMG, we are honored to care for patients facing rare cancers with incredible strength and resilience. Their courage inspires us every day and reminds us why education, research, and compassionate care are so important.

On Salivary Gland Cancer Awareness Day, we stand with our patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones while advocating for earlier detection, continued research, and better outcomes for everyone impacted by this rare disease.

Today, we shine a light on the millions of individuals and families affected by rare cancers. While each rare cancer may impact only a small number of people, together they account for nearly one in four cancer diagnoses worldwide.

At CCMG, we are honored to care for patients facing both common and rare cancers. We understand that a rare diagnosis can bring uncertainty, limited treatment options, and feelings of isolation, but no one should have to face that journey alone. Our patients' courage and resilience inspire us every day.

Rare Cancer Day is a reminder of the importance of earlier diagnosis, increased research, and greater access to specialized care.
