💚 What does it take to become a veterinarian? 🩺🐾
It takes curiosity, compassion, hard work, and a willingness to never stop learning.
If you’ve visited Muirfield Animal Hospital this summer, there’s a good chance you’ve already met Alivia!
As a third-year veterinary student at The Ohio State University, Alivia has been completing her internship with our team, and she has been an incredible addition to the MAH family. From day one, she’s brought a positive attitude, genuine curiosity, and an eagerness to learn that has made a lasting impression on our doctors, technicians, clients, and patients alike. 💚
No two days in veterinary medicine are the same, and Alivia is always ready to jump in wherever she’s needed. Whether she’s helping in exam rooms, placing IV catheters, assisting with patient care, or monitoring anesthesia during surgery, she approaches every opportunity with confidence, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to grow.
One of the things we admire most about Alivia is her passion for learning. She asks thoughtful questions, embraces new challenges, and is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge and sharpen her skills. Watching her grow throughout her internship has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re excited to see where her veterinary journey takes her.
After veterinary school, Alivia hopes to practice mixed animal medicine, caring for both large and small animals. Her dedication to learning, compassionate heart, and commitment to every patient leave no doubt that she’ll become an outstanding veterinarian.
When she’s away from the clinic, Alivia enjoys spending time with her two dogs—a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Golden Retriever. She also loves getting lost in a good book, spending time outdoors, and exploring new hiking trails with family and friends. 📚🥾🐶
Alivia’s relaxed personality, willingness to help, and kind heart have made her a wonderful addition to our team this season. She gets along with everyone, brings positive energy to the clinic each day, and reminds us how rewarding it is to help mentor the next generation of veterinarians.
