After a Reiki session, people often expect to feel instantly lighter, calmer, and more energized.
And often they do.
But occasionally, healing looks/feels different before its better.
Some individuals experience something called a Reiki healing crisis. This is a temporary period where the body, mind, and energy field begin releasing stored stress, suppressed emotions, and energetic patterns that are ready to move.
This can show up as fatigue, vivid dreams, emotional sensitivity, headaches, body aches, digestive changes, or a strong need for rest.
It can feel uncomfortable, but it doesn’t mean something is wrong, it may simply mean your system is processing, recalibrating, and creating space for healing.
Its Important to remember:
