💜 Thank You, Lynne! 💜

Today, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank Lynne, our incredible Activity Director, for her 46 years of dedication to Harmony Dubuque.

While Lynne officially retired in May, her commitment to our residents and team didn’t stop there. She graciously stayed on through June to help support the facility during the transition to a new Activity Director — a true reflection of her compassion, leadership, and love for our community.

For nearly five decades, Lynne brought joy, creativity, laughter, and meaningful moments to countless residents and families. Her impact on Harmony Dubuque is immeasurable, and her legacy will continue to be felt for years to come.

As we wrap up Skilled Nursing Care Week, we ended the week on a fun and refreshing note with Dirty Sodas on the Go! Our cookout was a huge success, and we wrapped up Friday by celebrating our amazing staff with Spring Sweets & Salty Treats.

A huge thank you to Molly, Shanelle, Elizabeth H., and Elizabeth G. for being great sports and volunteering to be pied in the face by staff! 🍰 Your willingness to join in the fun and celebrate our team did not go unnoticed.

We appreciate every single staff member for the compassion, dedication, and hard work you provide each and every day. Thank you for making this week so special!

Yesterday our wonderful residents enjoyed a relaxing Sip & Paint filled with creativity, Shirley Temples, and so many laughs. Moments like these remind us how special it is to come together, make memories, and simply enjoy each other’s company. ❤️

We had such a special day thanks to our wonderful nurse, Kristin, and her son, who brought in goats for our residents and staff to enjoy! 🐐💛

There’s nothing quite like the joy and smiles that come from moments like these. From laughter to gentle cuddles, the goats brought so much happiness to everyone’s day. We are so grateful for team members who go above and beyond to create meaningful experiences for our residents!

April is Occupational Therapy Month, and we are proud to celebrate our incredible Director of Rehab, Meg! 💙

As she approaches her 13th anniversary on May 1st, Meg reflects on a journey that began as an Occupational Therapist and evolved into her leadership role as Director of Rehab over the past 3 years. Her passion for working with our residents shines through in everything she does, taking the time to truly know their stories and helping them achieve their goals each and every day.

Outside of work, Meg enjoys camping, traveling, and staying busy chasing after her two kids and all their sports and activities!

Thank you, Meg, for your dedication, compassion, and the positive impact you make on our residents and team. We are so grateful for you! 🌟
