Convergence insufficiency (CI) is one of the most common binocular vision we see at Zenith Vision Development Center. From kids to adults, CI is a decreased ability to move your two eyes inward when viewing a near object.

This can cause a whole host of symptoms, from eye strain, headaches, intermittent blurred vision, and words moving on the page. Worse yet, it can also be responsible for difficulty in concentrating, slow reading speed, and decreased reading comprehension.

📱💻🎮 Did you know too much screen time can affect your child’s eyes, focus, and even their sleep?

Some common signs to watch for:
👀 Tired, sore, or blurry eyes
😵 Headaches after screen use
😣 Difficulty concentrating or irritability
😴 Trouble falling asleep or staying asleep

Children’s eyes are still developing, and long hours on screens can strain them. Regular breaks, outdoor play, and turning off devices at least an hour before bedtime can make a big difference.

💡 If you notice these signs in your child, it may be time to adjust screen habits and schedule a comprehensive eye exam. Protecting little eyes today helps set them up for clearer, healthier vision tomorrow. 💙
