SPRING BREAK ☀️
Questions I get asked as a Dermatology PA:

1. How many bottles of sunscreen do you bring on a trip?
This trip… we packed 12 😅 and my family of 4 went through 11 of them. Yes, really.

2. “I can’t wait to see how tan you get when you get home!”
Actually… I try not to get any color 🙃
I’ve just gotten really good at using sunscreen, sun-protective clothing, and hats while still looking cute and feeling like I’m on vacation.
If I want a little glow, I’ll use a light daily self-tanner (like Jergens) for that subtle beachy look—without the damage.

3. Do you really reapply sunscreen every 2 hours?
Yes. Especially at the beach or pool. If you’re sweating or swimming, even more often. This is the difference between protected skin and burned skin.

4. What SPF should I actually be using?
At least SPF 30, but I personally use SPF 50+ on my face and body—especially in tropical sun.

5. Do I still need sunscreen if I’m wearing makeup or it’s cloudy?
Yes and yes. UV rays don’t care about clouds or your foundation. Daily SPF is non-negotiable.

Today we celebrate Wendy and an incredible 10 years with our company as she heads into a very well-earned retirement 🤍

Wendy is truly a gem. If you know her—or were lucky enough to be her client—you know exactly what we mean. She has been a loyal employee, a dedicated teammate, and not only a wonderful esthetician, but an exceptional one. Her care, skill, and kindness have left a lasting mark on our patients and on all of us.

Wendy, thank you for everything you’ve given over the years. Your presence, your work ethic, and your heart have meant more than we can put into words. You will always be part of our family.

We are so excited for this next chapter of your life—grandma life and ski-bum life look good on you already! You’ve earned every minute of it, and you deserve all the joy this season will bring.

Ten Years.

Never did I imagine, more than a decade ago, that a dream born from passion and purpose would grow into what we have today. What started as a small spark—an idea to create a space where women could feel seen, cared for, and empowered—has blossomed into something so much greater than I ever could have hoped.

Ten years of laughter, learning, healing, and growth.

Ten years of walking alongside our patients through their journeys—celebrating their joys, holding space for their struggles, and watching them glow from the inside out.

Ten years of showing up every single day with a team that feels more like family. The heart, dedication, and love this team pours into their work is what makes this place more than a med spa. It’s a sanctuary.

And none of this—none of it—would be possible without our incredible patients. You’ve trusted us with your care, your stories, and your skin. You’ve inspired us. You’ve lifted us. You are the reason we get to do what we love.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. For every appointment, every kind word, every referral, every hug, and every tear shared—we carry it all with us.

I think this is my favorite CO2RE result yet!
This sweet lady came into our clinic not knowing what she wanted or needed but knew she wanted to start taking better care of herself including her skin.
We started with a very aggressive CO2RE treatment. This is an amazing resurfacing laser that I can change my settings differently for every patient. It truly makes for an unmatched customized treatment!

We are able to achieve drastic results like our beautiful patient above with a single treatment. However some people may require more than one treatment depending on their skin concern.

Depression in teens makes me so sad. Everytime I see a teen in clinic with depression it just breaks my heart. The world is so different these days compared to when I was a teen. Bullying, social media, the list goes on.

I pledge to not use filters on any of my social media pictures for the entire month of April to honor what these teens may be faced with...who’s with me? I may look pretty in most of my photos I post but that's because I try to look pretty for them. Filters, retakes, different angles, make up, etc. We are all real people...and beautiful people in our own skin. Let's be the change.
