Many people think of ADHD as something diagnosed during childhood, but that’s not the reality for many adults.

According to CDC data from 2023, 55.9% of adults with current ADHD received their diagnosis at age 18 or older.

For some adults, challenges with focus, organization, time management, impulsivity, or managing everyday responsibilities may have been present for years without an explanation.

Receiving an ADHD diagnosis as an adult doesn’t change the past, but understanding what’s been happening can be an important step toward finding the right support. 💚🌱
