We're proud to announce a new partnership between Ecumen and the University of Minnesota School of Nursing.

Together, we've established a nursing Collaboratory focused on advancing aging services, supporting nursing education, and developing innovative solutions that improve the lives of older adults.

This partnership brings academic research and real-world care experience together to help prepare future nursing professionals while continuing to enhance the quality of care and services across Ecumen communities.

Thank you to the team members, residents, board members, and University of Minnesota collaborators who helped make this vision a reality. We look forward to what we'll accomplish together as we continue supporting people as they age.

Last week, we had the pleasure of enjoying the wonderful musical talents of Bob and Carol Flatt. Their music filled the room with smiles as the audience sang along, danced, and tapped their toes to the beat. What a fun and memorable afternoon!

We always enjoy our mornings with Coffee with a Cop! It is a wonderful opportunity to connect, enjoy a donut, and get your questions answered in a relaxed setting.

Last week, we had the privilege of hearing from financial investigator Ryan Temple, who shared valuable information about scams and how to protect ourselves from becoming victims.

We would also like to wish Jason McClure (Cathy Firth’s son) a very happy retirement! Thank you for joining us each time we have hosted Coffee with a Cop. We have truly appreciated your visits and wish you all the best in your retirement.

Last week, we continued celebrating Assisted Living Week with an exciting 80s-themed dress-up day. Residents and staff embraced the decade with colorful outfits and plenty of fun. On that day, we enjoyed wonderful entertainment from Abe Curran on the Crest Patio, along with a relaxing campfire to make smores and warm beverages. It was a perfect way to spend some of the final days of summer together, creating memories and enjoying good company.
