🎪🎉 Carnival Fun at Peace of Mind! 🎉🎪

We had an amazing time hosting a Carnival for the individuals we serve! There was no shortage of fun, laughter, games, and delicious treats.

🌭 Hot dogs
🥒 Pickles on a stick
🍿 Popcorn
🧁 Cupcakes

And of course, plenty of games and activities!

🎈 Balloon Darts
⭕ Ring Toss

And what would a carnival be without a clown? It was such a fun day filled with friendly competition, great memories, and lots of smiles! We’re so grateful for the opportunity to come together and celebrate with the wonderful individuals we serve. 💙

Congatulations to AJ, our Residential and Family Supports Services Leadership Team Member of the Month!

As a newer manager, he has been absolutely rocking it! He has gone above and beyond to learn the many behind-the-scenes responsibilities that come with leadership while continuing to jump in and support staffing needs whenever needed.

He has quickly become a pro with expenses, reviews, running reports in Therap, entering medications, scheduling and so many other important manager responsibilities at Pike Lake.

But what truly stands out is the positive support he provides to both our team members and the individuals we serve. He consistently shows up with a willingness to help, learn, problem-solve, and make a difference.

We are so impressed with how much he has grown in such a short time and are excited to see all that he continues to accomplish in his leadership role!

🌟 Congratulations to Brooklynn — our Vocational, Respite & Community Services Leadership Team Member of the Month! 🌟

Brooklynn has truly stepped into her role as Community Team Manager and has quickly become an invaluable part of our leadership team. She leads with a strong person-centered approach, building meaningful relationships and communicating effectively with both the individuals we support and our team members.

One of Brooklynn’s greatest strengths is her ability to think outside the box. She brings creativity and innovation to her work, developing engaging ideas and opportunities that reflect each individual’s unique interests, goals, and aspirations. 💙

She has also been putting that creativity to work by helping develop one-of-a-kind person-centered tools that highlight what individuals are passionate about, what makes a good day for them, and the supports and approaches that can help create more good days. Her dedication to making these tools meaningful, individualized, and useful for the teams supporting them is truly making an impact.

Julia has made such a positive difference at Woodland! She has a special ability to connect with the individual she supports and encourage them to get out, go shopping, and participate in activities. 🛍️🙌 Her encouragement and ability to make activities engaging have helped create more opportunities for community involvement and meaningful experiences.

Julia also does a great job staying on top of things around the house, making sure the team is aware when supplies are running low and helping keep things running smoothly.

We talked with the guys about Lilyanna, and it was clear just how much they enjoy having her back on the team! 💙 They shared that Lilyanna is always fun to have along on outings and does a great job helping them get out into the community and enjoy different activities.

When she’s at the house, Lilyanna keeps things fun by playing games with the guys and joining in on activities. She’s also always willing to pitch in and help out, including getting outside and tackling some yardwork! 🌱🙌

Lilyanna brings a fun, engaging, and helpful presence to Superior Street, and it’s wonderful to hear directly from the guys how much they appreciate having her around!

Not only is it time to recognize team members who have gone above and beyond for our individuals, but it's also time to celebrate this star team member and their dedication to being a valuable support system to others!

Today we’re celebrating Dawn’s 2 years as a Direct Support Professional at Peace of Mind! 💙

One of the things we appreciate most about Dawn is how they consistently go the extra mile, especially when it comes to person-centered support. Dawn is always thinking about what will truly benefit each individual and takes those extra steps to make sure their care is individualized, meaningful, and focused on their unique needs.

Dawn is also exceptional at supporting individuals with mental health concerns. They are always looking for helpful tips, strategies, and approaches that work well, and they’re generous about sharing those ideas with the rest of the team so everyone can provide the best support possible. 💙

Dawn engages with everyone in the home. They do a wonderful job getting all of the individuals involved in activities while they’re working, creating a fun, inclusive, and positive environment where everyone feels involved and supported. 🎉

Congratulation to Randy, Vocational Team Member for the month of July!

Randy has gone above and beyond by always being willing to step in and help wherever he's needed. Whether it's picking up extra shifts, supporting his coworkers, or making sure the individuals we serve have a great day, he consistently shows up with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

One of the things that stands out most about Randy is the impact he has on the people around him. The individuals he works with always have wonderful things to say about him and truly enjoy spending time with him. His kindness, patience, and genuine care make a difference every single day.

Whether it's adjusting her schedule, picking up additional hours, working with a new person, or helping wherever support is needed, Noel always approaches it with flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude.

One of Noel's greatest strengths is her ability to adapt. She meets each individual where they are, takes the time to truly get to know them, and provides support that is compassionate, respectful, and person-centered. She builds meaningful relationships and creates an environment where the individuals we support feel comfortable, valued, and heard.
