We're heading to Boston! Come See Us at ASTRO 2026 Booth 1936.

If you're on-site this weekend, stop by the Xstrahl booth to Learn how you can increase your capacity to treat benign conditions by combining the capability of orthovoltage X-ray systems with the traditional ease-of-use of superficial radiation therapy

Plus, catch two live Q&A sessions with leading voices in the field:

🔹Dr. Bobby Koneru, MD, FASTRO: Behind the Study session, live Q&A following his presentation on the randomized controlled trial on LDRT for knee osteoarthritis, on Sunday, Sept 27 (2:45–5:00 PM)

🔹Prof. Michael Heinrich Seegenschmiedt: A Conversation on 30 Years of Redefining Radiation Medicine on Saturday and Sunday (12:00–1:30 PM) to discuss his 30+ years experience pioneering LDRT for benign conditions.

See you there!

🎬 We are ready for our close up!

Our orthovoltage technology just had its reality TV debut! On The Bad Skin Clinic (Discovery+, S8:E3), Dr. Emma Craythorne turned to an Xstrahl system to treat a patient battling severe facial keloid scarring, giving her a non-surgical path forward after years of searching for answers.

Curious how it works? We've broken down the science behind radiotherapy for keloid scarring, who's a candidate, what the treatment course looks like, and the outcomes clinicians are seeing in an on-demand webinar you can watch anytime.

🎉 Xstrahl turns 30 and we are celebrating 30 years of redefining radiation medicine.

It's not a coincidence we're announcing it today, as September 7 is World Radiotherapy Awareness Day, a day the global radiation oncology community comes together under one voice to highlight radiotherapy as a safe, essential, cost-effective cancer treatment that cures, relieves symptoms, and improves quality of life.

Our story goes back even further than 30 years. Therapeutic X-rays have been used to treat disease since 1896. The foundation of radiation therapy, kilovoltage X-ray technology, is still to this day, one of the most widely used tools in cancer care. Xstrahl has spent three decades building on that foundation.

We're also honoring where it all started, with our founder, Martin Robinson, whose family has chosen to reinvest in Xstrahl, a vote of confidence in the mission he built and in the impact this technology continues to have on cancer research, treatment, and pain relief for patients around the world.

Radiation for osteoarthritis pain.
For most patients, the first reaction is fear, not relief.

A new retrospective analysis in International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics, followed 4,699 patients treated with orthovoltage radiotherapy for up to 20 years, making it the largest and longest-tracked LDRT safety cohort published to date. And it gives clinicians something more useful than reassurance: an actual answer.

The findings are more nuanced than “safe” or “risky,” and that nuance is exactly what makes this useful in the exam room. Peripheral joints showed no meaningful cancer signal. Marrow-rich and central trunk sites warrant more careful case selection.

At Xstrahl, orthovoltage sits at the center of functional radiotherapy for MSK conditions. We’re proud to support the evidence behind it and to see data like this reach the clinicians who need it.

We’re excited to announce that Xstrahl will be at ESTRO Meets Asia: FARO-ESTRO Congress 2026 in Singapore, August 28–30, 2026!

Stop by our booth to see how orthovoltage therapy is redefining radiation medicine. Come learn how our Orthovoltage XRT systems expand your capacity to treat pain & benign conditions like keloid scarring, Ledderhose disease, Dupuytren’s disease, and osteoarthritis, combining the power of orthovoltage X-ray with the simplicity of superficial radiation therapy, and serving as a low-cost, high-value complement to your linear accelerator.

We’ll also be running live demonstrations of XBeam, our FDA 510(k)-cleared dose planning software that automates planning, reduces risk, and integrates seamlessly with Concerto, our clinical interface built for intuitive workflows and detailed patient records.

If you’re headed to ESTRO Meets Asia 2026, come see what’s possible with orthovoltage. We can’t wait to see you there!
