Dina introduces the concept of trailheads in the therapeutic process. Trailheads stem from Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS, parts work), but most modalities use some form of trailheads in their process.

Dina has a section in her planner titled "Trailheads" and she keeps track of areas and topics she may want to explore in her own therapeutic work. It is a great way to frame, organize, and document the special psychotherapy journey. ❤️

A little proof that mental health is truly becoming de-stigmatized.

I remember when we first moved into the building almost 9 years ago—when I showed someone where I wanted to highlight our Insight Counseling sign in big letters off the elevators, he said he was surprised I didn’t want to be more discreet. What!? I know his suggestion had good intentions, but that is the opposite of how I felt. I wanted to scream from the mountain tops that a new practice was supporting mental health in this space. So to hear Tracy‘s experience in elevator yesterday was so uplifting and validating.

Thanks for sharing, Tracy. And thanks to the people in our community who are supporting Insight’s goodness, as well as a heartfelt shout out to all our fellow practices doing this meaningful work. We love you! 🥰
