Subluxation: Noun. A partial dislocation. A slight misalignment of the vertebrae, the cause of many health problems.

Spinal subluxation results in extra pressure being placed on the nerves exiting the spinal cord. When this occurs, there is decreased signal or communication from the brain to the areas of the body controlled by the involved nerve(s).

Over time, without chiropractic care, subluxations can get worse. This results in prolonged nerve interference which can cause a variety of health conditions, and can even lead to spinal degeneration if not addressed early enough.

In need of an adjustment? Please don't "crack" your own spine!

Although cracking your back, neck, etc. can be satisfying, you may be doing more harm than good!

When "cracking" your own back, you are moving the joints that are already hypermobile/overly flexible, which causes weakness and instability in the joint.

When a chiropractor adjusts your spine, they are only moving the misaligned joints, restoring proper function and strengthening the joint!
