As we celebrate 250 years of this great nation this Fourth of July, I'm reminded just how much the American dream means to families like ours.
In 1952, my grandfather opened the doors to a small-town pharmacy with a simple goal: work hard, serve people well, and provide for his family. Because of this country's promise and the support of this community, that dream became a reality.
Today, three generations later, those same values still guide us. We are still here. Still serving our neighbors. Still believing that personal service, hard work, and taking care of people matter.
America was built by small businesses, big dreams, and families willing to put in the work and invest in their communities. We are incredibly proud to be a small part of that story.
From our family to yours, thank you for allowing Thomas Drug Store to be part of your lives for more than seven decades.

You can retire from Thomas Drug Store… but apparently you can’t stay away for long! 😊

We loved having two familiar faces stop by today! Ernie, our delivery driver for 22½ years, and Glenda, who spent 22 years caring for our customers and community.

Together, that’s nearly 45 years of service under one roof.

Thank you both for the years, the memories, and for reminding us that once you’re part of the Thomas Drug family, you’re always family. ❤️

BIG NEWS! 🎉 Our Thomas Drug Store pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are officially certified through the NASPA Pharmacy-Based Point-of-Care Test & Treat Respiratory Certificate Program!

Thanks to new North Carolina legislation, Test to Treat for Flu is coming to Thomas Drug Store this fall! That means convenient, one-stop flu testing and, for eligible patients, treatment—all from your trusted hometown pharmacy.
