Many patients are surprised to learn that lower eyelid rejuvenation can often be performed through a hidden incision placed inside the eyelid.
This technique, known as a transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty, allows access to under-eye fat without creating a visible external scar. The first area is the neck, creating a cleaner, sharper, more elegant, or more masculine neck angle. The second area that is powerful, it cleans up the jawline. It smooths, it defines the lower face so the jawline looks more structured. And lastly, depending on the technique, it can help lift and reposition cheeks, which may soften the nasolabial angles or marionette lines. That's real, that's powerful, and that's real powerful.

here's the part that people don't want to hear. No facelift beats father time. Skin moves, muscle moves, tissues relax, you smile, you talk, you chew, you sleep, you swell, you heal, you lose collagen, you gain collagen, you gain weight, you lose weight. The face is dynamic. It's not marble. It's living tissue. So, Yes, a face may look tighter for one week, four weeks, six weeks, or even six months. It looks tighter for that amount of time and may look less tight as time goes on. But that doesn't mean automatically that a facelift has failed. What it simply means is that there's been healing, settling, and normal tissue relaxation. So please, please, please, please, y'all, stop pretending that the only conversation had here is mass versus deep plane. Both of these techniques can work really beautifully, but both of these techniques can be very disappointed if executed poorly. The technique matters, but the diagnosis, the ex*****on, patient anatomy, skin quality, long-term maintenance matters just as much. Best facelift results, not just surgery, it's surgery plus maintenance.
