The team members at Mesa Verde Estates appreciate your interest in our community. Our mission of – caring people, serving people, improving lives – helps us create a home for our residents where friends and family are welcome, new friendships are developed and life is lived to the fullest. We know that all major life changes are stressful, and the challenges that go along with aging can make relocation particularly difficult for seniors and their loved ones. Sunday gatherings have become a wonderful tradition here at Mesa Verde Estates!

Each week, we hold a service in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. We love that our residents and their families can join whichever gathering they choose, giving everyone a chance to spend time together.

We even have a gentleman who comes in to play guitar and lead everyone in singing some familiar hymns! 🎶

It’s a simple way for our residents to continue practicing their faith, enjoying fellowship, and spending time with one another. 🤍

💗 Wearing Pink for a Purpose! 💗

This week, one of our wonderful care team members shared a family tradition of wearing pink every Wednesday in October to honor those fighting breast cancer, celebrate the survivors, and remember those we’ve lost. She asked if we could bring that tradition to Mesa Verde Estates, and of course, we loved the idea!

Since we missed Wednesday, we kicked things off yesterday! Our team jumped right in, and even our residents joined the fun! 🩷

We loved seeing so much pink throughout our community, and we’re looking forward to keeping this sweet tradition going every Wednesday in October!

Today we welcomed eight new members to our care team, and they got to spend some time with our residents putting out flowers for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

It was so sweet to see everyone working together, and our residents loved being part of it. The front of Mesa Verde Estates looks absolutely beautiful! 💜🌸

We’re excited to have eight new faces joining our team and becoming part of our community! And we cannot wait until Saturday to join so many others in the Durango community walking to end of Alzheimer’s.

Laughter is the best styling product! 💇‍♀️✨ Yesterday, we kicked our National Assisted Living Week celebrations into high gear with Wacky Hair Day. Watching our residents and staff trade styling tips, share giggles, and show off their wild side was a true reminder of what makes our community feel like family.

We’re halfway through National Assisted Living Week, and we’ve been having so much fun celebrating at Mesa Verde Estates!

Monday we kicked things off with Spirit Day, showing off our favorite teams.

Tuesday everyone got a little fancy for Dress Your Best Day.

And today? We traded fancy for comfy with Pajama Day!

We love any excuse to laugh together, dress a little silly, and make memories with the people who make Mesa Verde Estates feel like home.

And we aren’t done yet! We still have two more spirit days to go. Stay tuned to see what we’re up to tomorrow and Friday! 🤍

100+ RESIDENTS & SO MUCH TO CELEBRATE!

Mesa Verde Estates has officially welcomed more than 100 residents into our community, and we had to celebrate!

This milestone is about so much more than a number. It’s friendships being made, meals shared, laughter filling the halls, new experiences, and people simply doing life together.

Our community is growing, thriving, and becoming more vibrant every day. We are incredibly grateful to every resident and family who has trusted us and chosen Mesa Verde Estates to be home.
