The older I get the more I think she is right.

The constant holding—of children, of families, of everything that needs to keep moving.

But by noticing what’s already there.

Because care has always been powerful.
It just hasn’t always been recognized that way.

Morning routine for moms isn’t about doing more…
it’s about how you feel when the day starts.

I used to wake up behind—
rushing, overwhelmed, trying to get everything done while getting the kids out the door.

Now I prep the night before, take a 30-minute walk,
and everything feels different.

Less chaos.
Less snapping.
More calm, connected mornings.

Turns out… regulating myself changed the emotional climate of our home.
