Meet our therapists ! This week featuring Alia Evans!

Alia started her journey into bodywork in 2012 at Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts. She then years later went back to school to further her understanding of the body at The Costa Rican School of Massage Therapy. With over 1,000 hours of training in many modalities including: Swedish massage,Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Myofascial release, Trigger Point Therapy, Craniosacral, Prenatal Massage, Acupressure & Reflexology, Deep tissue, Hydrotherapy, Polarity balancing, and Aromatherapy, she is able to tailor each session to the clients specific needs. Her work is informed by Eastern healing modalities such as Chinese Five Element healing theory and meridian based bodywork. She integrates many techniques to relax the nervous system to allow a balance of energy movement through the body, by intuitively listening to the body’s needs. She provides client focused, evidence-based therapeutic massage therapy. Done with a gentle nurturing, yet firm, and intuitive touch, to allow your body to come back into balance physically, emotionally, and energetically. The Durango Farmers Market is deeply saddened by the passing of Katrina Blair.

Katrina was a longtime vendor, educator, advocate, and friend whose passion for local food and community touched countless lives. Through Turtle Lake Refuge, she inspired generations to reconnect with the land, embrace sustainability, and find nourishment in the natural world.

Her presence at the market was a reminder that food is more than what we eat - it is a connection to place, to one another, and to the abundance that surrounds us.

We are grateful for the wisdom, kindness, and vision she shared with our community.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and the entire Turtle Lake Refuge family during this difficult time.

Thank you, Katrina. Your legacy will continue to grow.
